Such a simple question, but let’s see what it involves
At least these three things:
- That when I say “I”, I actually have a good idea of who I am. Or maybe of who I is? 🙂
- That when I say “you”, I need to know you as well, and not only he idea of you that I hold
- That when you hear the “you”, you also need to know who that is – same as the first bullet point but for you
- And because we say “talk with you”, which implies I will talk with you AND you will talk with I, maybe the you needs to know who the I is.
That’s a lot of knowledge assumed in what appears as a simple question?
Another variation of this is “Why would you not talk with me?”.
There’s a lot of knowledge that has to be acquired before answers to questions like these can be produced and received.
