I read couple posts from Brian Miller few days ago and they made an impression on me so much so that helped me take the action and submit my documents for an undergraduate in Philosofy, something I wanted to do for many years. There were other factors that motivated me to make the move, but these couple articles too.
I also very much liked the blogging workflow described there, and decided it’s time for me to start learning about consistency.
Something I liked very much was this:
To paraphrase Seth Godin, it doesn’t get published because it’s ready. It gets published because it’s Wednesday at 8am.
So I’m copying these two posts here to serve as an reference and a starting point.
My weekly posts will go public every Wednesday at 8:00 am.
Needless to say, I’m in an excited state and feel optimistic.
The blog post “How to Become a Better Thinker” also made an impression. The main premise is that writing helps you think better.
What if it’s not the idea that polishes the message, but the message that polishes the idea?
I still not convinced that “a better polished idea” equals “better thinker”, but I do like the inversion.
Till Wednesday!
